Please refer to the Harvey window and other product warranties for specific details, as we do not warrant the performance of any contractor, including those on our Contractor Referral Program, and we specifically disclaim any such warranty. Please note that the foregoing disclaimer applies not only to improper installation of Harvey products, but also to any other claims, damages or liabilities you may have out of your dealings with your contractor, including those on our Contractor Referral Program.

How do contractors become a part of the Harvey Contractor Referral Program?

Contractors on the Harvey Building Products referral list have voluntarily requested to be on our program. Because this is a voluntary program for contractors, the list in no way represents Harvey Building Products’ entire customer base.

Does Harvey Building Products verify the validity of a contractor’s insurance or license?

Harvey Building Products does not review or validate a contractor’s license or insurance.

What if I can’t find a contractor in my area?

Currently we service all of the New England states, and portions of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. We are unable to distribute products to other areas at this time. If you are located within the service areas listed and are having difficulty receiving search results, we suggest you expand the distance of your mile radius search area. If you are located out of these listed areas, we will not be able to provide contractor names at this time.

What if I chose a contractor that is not on the list provided to me?

Any qualified contractor you choose can establish an account with Harvey Building Products and provide you with Harvey products.

What if I have a problem with my contractor’s workmanship/quality of work, etc.?

We suggest contacting your individual contractor to resolve the issues. However, if these attempts have been exhausted, complaints for these types of issues can be submitted to your state’s Attorney General office or the Better Business Bureau.

Choosing a Contractor

When choosing a contractor, as suggested by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), it is important to consider many factors including:

Length of time the contractor has been in the remodeling business
The contractor’s licensing and insurance
References and/or warranties offered by the contractor for work performed
Written bids from contractors

And in the end, we encourage you to make your decision based on the overall value you will receive. As with most major purchases, cost is an important consideration but not the only one.
